Delete your M-Velanmai account உங்கள் M-Velanmai கணக்கை நீக்குதல்

Applies to the M-Velanmai Android application (com.cropspot1).

This page explains how to request deletion of your M-Velanmai account and the data associated with it. M-Velanmai is published by Tamil Nadu Agricultural University. Anyone who has registered in the app may make this request, free of charge.

How to request deletion நீக்கக் கோருவது எப்படி

Send an email from the address or phone number linked to your account, using the steps below.

1. Compose an email to hr@farmwiseai.com.

   hr@farmwiseai.com முகவரிக்கு ஒரு மின்னஞ்சல் எழுதவும்.

2. Use the subject line “Account deletion request – M-Velanmai”.

   தலைப்பு: “Account deletion request – M-Velanmai”.

3. Include the mobile number you registered with. We use it to locate your account. Do not send your OTP or password — we will never ask for them.

   நீங்கள் பதிவு செய்த கைபேசி எண்ணைக் குறிப்பிடவும். OTP அல்லது கடவுச்சொல்லை அனுப்ப வேண்டாம்.

4. State what you want removed — your entire account, or only specific data such as your photographs or pest enquiry records.

5. Send it. We will verify that the request comes from the account holder, then confirm by email once the deletion is complete.

What is deleted, and what is kept எந்தத் தரவு நீக்கப்படும், எது வைக்கப்படும்

Why enquiry records are anonymised rather than erased. Pest and disease reports contribute to agricultural advisory research and to regional outbreak monitoring. Once your account is deleted, these records are stripped of everything that identifies you — your name, mobile number, photographs and precise location — and only the crop, the pest or disease, and the district remain. What is left cannot be traced back to you.

How long it takes எவ்வளவு காலம் ஆகும்

• Within 7 days — we acknowledge your request.
• Within 30 days — your account and the data listed above are deleted from our active systems.
• Within 90 days — the data is also removed from encrypted backups, which are rotated on a fixed schedule and cannot be edited individually.
